Hattie B’s Hot Chicken to take over former Maria’s Taco Xpress site

AUSTIN (Austin Business Journal) — Hattie B’s Hot Chicken is coming to Austin.

The first location in the city for the buzzy Nashville-based chain will be at 2529 S. Lamar Blvd., according to public documents.

The site is the former home of Maria’s Taco Xpress, a longtime restaurant that shuttered at the end of 2020.
