Shu Uemura’s new Sailor Moon collection flaunts a crescent moon eyeshadow palette – find out when it’s launching

Shu Uemura is here with a brand new collection that has us over the moon.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, the brand has teamed up with the superheroine to give us a collection that is out of this world.

Even though it only launches in October, there is so much to look forward to and we’re going to give you the early scoop on what to anticipate.

You definitely don’t want to miss out on the official release dates at the end.

Moon Crisis Eye Palette

As always, Shu Uemura goes hard with their packaging. They did not disappoint by giving us not one, but two eyeshadow palettes to choose from.

The first one is a Moon Crisis Eye Palette that flaunts nine shades, and it contains a good variety of matte, chrome, glitter, and metallic finishes to play with.

Not only that, the three chrome shades that are in this palette are exclusive shades to the brand. They feature a duochrome shade that changes colour according to the lighting, so it’ll add a gorgeous pop of colour to any eye look.

This palette takes on the shape of lunar crescent moon, which will not only feel good in your hands but look perfect for your social media posts.

The Moon Crisis Eye Palette retails for S$135 on LazMall and Sephora from 21 and 24 October 2022 respectively.

Eternal Prism Eye Palette

The next palette is the Eternal Prism Eye Palette. This palette is more compact than the previous one so its perfect for on-the-go situations.

It features six shades with a good mix of mattes, metallics, and chromes. What sets it apart from the other palette is its pretty pinkish-purple colour scheme, which will allow to create more futuristic looks.

The Moon Crisis Eye Palette retails for S$108 on LazMall and Sephora after 21 and 24 October 2022 respectively.

Hard Formula (Eyebrow Pencil)

Shu Uemura is known for their long-lasting eyebrow pencils and their Hard Formula is a must-have in every makeup bag. Now, it comes with Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal the Movie etchings on it in the shade Seal Brown.

Hard Formula is known for its Naginata shape which makes it easy for beginners to handle. The shape of the pencil is angled in the perfect way so you can pencil in natural, hair-like strokes easily.

Hard Formula retails at S$35 on LazMall and Sephora after 21 and 24 October 2022 respectively.

Rouge Unlimited Kinu Satin, Rouge Unlimited Kinu Cream, and Rouge Unlimited Amplified Lacquer

There are three types of lippies in this collection, each with two unique shades.

All of them come with the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal the Movie etchings on their packaging.

The Rouge Unlimited Kinu Satin contains a mixture of Japanese Tsubaki Oil that leaves your lips feeling smooth. This release has a new shade called Dream Rust, which takes on a rusty rose shade that’s suitable for both day and night wear.

Meanwhile, Rouge Unlimited Kinu Cream is a liquid lip that has a whipped cream-like texture, high pigmentation, and promises long-lasting wear. Plus, it comes in a new shade called Guardian Sparkle which is a reddish brown with gold sparkles.

Lastly, Rouge Unlimited Amplified Lacquer has a richer texture compared to the Satin. It has a glossy finish that is sure to make your lips pop. The new shade, Mauve Flash, is a mauve pink with iridescent lilac sparkles.
