A glimpse into the Polo Weekend fashion through my lens.

Last weekend, the Nairobi Polo club hosted a weekend full of great vibes, food and of course fashionable attendees who came to show off and show out. The event sponsored by Tusker Malt Lager; one of EABL’s premium brands that contains 100% Malt and is Brewed, was for the 8 and 10 goal Polo games.

Polo is an ancient game dating back to the the 6th century BC where it was played by elite Calvary units in Asia as an integral part of their battle training. The game today remains largely unchanged. 

This paramount summer social event brought together fashion, food, fun, friends and families. The day was sunny for the most part and guests relaxed in one of the many ‘pitch side’ bars as they enjoyed the good food and good music. 

If I was asked to describe last weekend’s fashion, it would be chic, effortless and elegant. The guests brought a flew of summer trends to life. The weather was warm and so were the people.

When the horses were done and the sun had set, the fans came out to play. And play they did, they danced, ate and tossed to a good day out; filled with laughter, good stories and great friends.

When the sun was down, we opted to put down our camera and join in the fun. The polo action continues throughout this coming weekend, see you on the next one!
